1.2.5 LA QUIROMANCIA

1.2.6 LA ASTROLOGÍA
Rodríguez M. (2003:171) refiere que Claudio Ptolomeo (siglo II) relacionaba el temperamento humano con los planetas, ya que los planetas influyen en la criminalidad como Mercurio, que hace banqueros ambiciosos y ladrones; Saturno, que produce asesinos, piratas y villanos, Júpiter, que da hombres de armas, duelistas, gente enérgica y agresiva.
La astrología considera que las influencias astrales inclinan, pero no determinan el actuar humano; no obstante, se acepta decididamente la influencia de los astros en la personalidad y conducta humana, y en forma especial en la problemática criminal.
Alpherat (1979:35-50) señala en lo referente a los signos zodiacales se tiene que:
a) «Los signos de fuego (Aries, Leo y Sagitario) condicionan las conductas antisociales violentas o resultantes del predomino de personalidad; por el contrario, poco inclinados a las traiciones y a la evasión.
b) Los signos de aire (géminis, Libra y Acuario) son empujados por conductas antisociales provenientes de la volubilidad o la inconstancia; así mismo se aventuran a actividades sexuales sin afecciones profundas de personalidad, con las conductas antisociales resultantes; por otra parte no expresan sentimientos negativos profundos como el rencor y la vindicta.
c) Los signos de tierra (Tauro, Virgo y Capricornio) presentan conductas antisociales cuyo fin es el apoderamiento de bienes y también en aquellas en que se requiere una planificación desapasionada y un sigilo en los planes.
d) Los signos de agua (Cáncer, Escorpión y Piscis) inclinan la personalidad a desequilibrios emocionales y todas las consecuencias antisociales cuyo objeto sea el apoderamiento de bienes y también aquellas en que intervienen las pasiones desordenadas, como los celos y el rencor; igualmente a tendencias sexuales pasionales que se confunden con sentimientos nobles, llegando a desarrollar conductas criminales».
Hendel (1973:26) señala en cuanto a la influencia negativa de los planetas en las personas tenemos:
«Marte. Relax de la moral sexual, dominio y toda manifestación de violencia.
Venus. Relax de la moral sexual y disminución de la prudencia en razón de negativas fantasías.
Mercurio. Engaño y juego con cualquier manifestación.
Urano. Afecciones de personalidad, debilitamiento del carácter, propiciamiento de errores.
Neptuno. Degeneración, excesos y vicios, locura y suicidio.
Saturno. Tendencias destructivas y avasalladoras, complementadas con carencias sentimentales y brutalidad de métodos».
De alguna forma se dice que los astros pueden tener influencia en la conducta humana, como en los enfermos mentales recluidos en hospitales psiquiátricos, que tienen indudable aumento de agitación durante los días de luna llena.
1.2.7 LA DEMONOLOGÍA
La demonología nos dice que los demonios, pueden posesionarse de una persona y obligar a este a realizar cosas perversas, que esta persona no deseaba, por lo tanto, a este individuo había que sacarle el demonio, y así fue como todo aquello que el hombre no se podía explicar, toda conducta que el hombre no podía justificar, la atribuía a un demonio que se había posesionado de la persona.[1]
La demonología desarrollo la teoría de la tentación, en la que el criminal es un sujeto que, de no estar poseído, está al menos tentado por el espíritu maligno. En base a esta explicación se considera la causa del crimen como algo externo, que tiene influencia en la natural debilidad humana.
1.2.8 LA FISIONOMÍA
La fisionomía o fisiognomía es el «estudio de los rasgos del rostro y de su expresión en cuanto denotan cualidades distintivas. En sentido estricto describe las facciones aisladamente en su relación con cualidades físicas, pero en sentido amplio considera más bien la expresión, el rostro psíquico, indicativo de cualidades psíquicas mas profundas» (Dorsch, 2002:329-330).
Zófiro analizó la cara y la conformación somática del sujeto, y a través de esto saber sus virtudes y vicios. Exímenes afirmaba que los sujetos que presentan ojos torcidos, son puntillosos y agudos en maldad, los lampiños son de maldad femenina y los jorobados malos y lujuriosos. Giovanni Batista Della Porta (1535-1616) sostiene en su fisiognomonía (1586) la interdependencia del cuerpo y del alma, y señala algunos signos somáticos de índole criminal que pueden apreciarse en forma de anomalías en la cabeza, la frente, las orejas, la nariz, los dientes y la medida con respecto a la estatura. Jerónimo Cortés hace un largo estudio sobre la relación entre las diferentes partes del cuerpo y la forma de ser del sujeto, describiendo que: los hombres de estatura larga y bien derecha y más flaca que gorda, suelen ser atrevidos, crueles, de grande ira y presunción; los gruesos y altos, tercos, ingratos y prudentes; si es de corta estatura, son sospechosos y de mucha ira, etc. Jean Gaspar Lavater (1741-1801) realiza comparaciones formidables entre los animales y el hombre, observando que hay personas que tienen cara de perro, de conejo, de cerdo, pero a la conclusión que llegan unos fisonomistas es que una persona con cara de perro tiene las características psicológicas del mismo animal (Zófiro, Exímenes, Della Porta, Cortés & Lavater; CITADOS en Rodríguez, 2003:178-180).
Lavater añade que la verdad embellece y el vicio desfigura; que la vida intelectual hay que observarla en la frente, la moral y la sensibilidad en los ojos y en la nariz, pues los ojos son centro y suma de todos los caracteres, y que lo animal y lo vegetativo se ve en el mentón.
1.2.9 LA FRENOLOGÍA.
La frenología se encarga del «estudio de las formas del cráneo con el propósito de derivar conclusiones respecto al carácter y las cualidades de las personas. Llamada también a veces craneología o craneoscopia. Se basa en la teoría de la localización de las funciones psicológicas en determinados centros cerebrales» (Dorsch, 2002:340).
Rodríguez M. (2003:182-183) manifiesta que el creador, representante y divulgador de la frenología es Francois Joseph Gall (1758-1828), su teoría esta basada en:
1. «El contenido se moldea por el continente, el cerebro tiene la forma que le da el cráneo. Observando las características del cráneo se pueden saber las cualidades y el carácter del sujeto.
2. Hay regiones claramente identificadas en el cerebro, y de cada una de estas regiones, una facultad.
3. Los criminales tienen extraordinariamente desarrollados los centros del instinto de defensa, el coraje y la tendencia a reñir (agresividad), situados atrás de las orejas, y los centros del sentido carnicero, la tendencia a matar, situados arriba y al frente de la oreja».
El crimen, menciona Gall, puede ser causado por un desarrollo parcial del cerebro, no contrarrestado; este desarrollo produce un exceso de determinados sentimientos que llevan al crimen, así, el robo es el resultado del exceso del sentimiento de propiedad; lesiones y homicidio por un exceso de sentimiento de defensa; los delitos sexuales por un exceso de sentimiento de reproducción, etc. (Gall; CITADO en Rodríguez, 2003:184)
Mariano Cubi y Soler (1801-1875) se ocupó de aspectos criminales, desarrollando treinta años antes que Lombroso la teoría de que existe un criminal nato: «Hay seres humanos que nacen con un desmedido desarrollo de la destructividad, acometividad o combatividad, adquisitividad, severidad y amatividad…, con la parte moral más defectuosa, cuya organización constituye naturalmente al ladrón, al violador, al asesino, al estafador y a otros criminales» (Cubi, 1844; CITADO por Rodríguez, 2003:184).
