El uso del perfil criminal en la captura de delincuentes
Ningún crimen queda sin rastro porque existe una secuencia con su registro material en lo ilícito, mente que modifica materia, mente sobre materia, dejando rastro para el investigador, aunque no existan testigos, el escrutinio pericial y el estudio del fenómeno criminal en el humano arrojan datos importantes para la búsqueda y captura del delincuente.
Con el perfil criminal se estudian patrones de conducta a sujetos análogos. El asesinato de la víctima, que era el único testigo, no hace por defecto que el asesino quede impune, principios criminalísticos, testigos no presenciales lo señalan, el panorama no está completo, pero una serie de sucesos y eventos lo delatan. Principio de intercambio y correspondencia, comparación criminalística, materia entremezclada, pelo que coincide con pelo, ADN que coincide con perfil, huella dactilar, estrías de proyectil que coinciden con el arma homicida, pero además en un contexto criminológico deductivo, que señala al culpable por patrones de la desviación de conducta, para la delimitación de sospechosos.
El perfil criminal es un método tanto deductivo como inductivo, se inventó para los asesinos en serie, pero ahora también para cualquier otro tipo de delincuencia, que le sirve a la policía con sus variantes metódicas de investigación. Es así que cada delincuente tiene su retrato, ya que se estudian y clasifican los patrones de conducta en la tipología de delincuentes, con aristas de escena del crimen, victimología, móvil, modus operandi y perfil geográfico, entre otras, a modo de discriminación, para atrapar al delincuente desconocido, gracias a la delimitación de sospechosos.
El perfil criminal acude a los sujetos que cometieron delitos en el pasado para estudiarlos y entenderlos mejor, como método inductivo, para posteriormente con esa información atrapar a los sujetos que cometen delitos y aun no son conocidos, y por ende, serán atrapados por analogía.
Con el método inductivo se estudian los sujetos condenados o excondenados por medio de entrevistas, estudio de expedientes penales o penitenciarios, psiquiátricos y médicos, si fuera el caso, además relaciones interpersonales, de trabajo y familiares, para comprender mejor su comportamiento, para luego utilizar el método deductivo en la investigación criminal, al observar la victimología, la escena del delito, el móvil, el perfil geográfico y modus operandi, para encontrar al delincuente anónimo.
Modo, tiempo, lugar y hasta las características de la víctima dicen demasiado, así se delimita la edad del sospechoso, su etnia, su cultura, sus estudios, su estatus social, sus gustos o preferencias, además de sus posibles trastornos de personalidad, de allí la base sólida para la investigación criminal, donde el criminal está como anónimo y el investigador lo va a desenmascarar.
